Embarking on a journey has always excited me. The thrill of visiting new places, immersing myself in local customs, and savoring unique cuisines never fails to spark my enthusiasm. Yet, amidst this excitement, finding the perfect abode during my travels remains a concern. I yearn for a snug, inviting space that doesn't drain my wallet for just a night's rest.

INTRODUCTION

Recently, my college friends came to visit and invited us to explore Sorsogon. Me and my wife live in Albay, so it took us about 2 hours to get to Sorsogon, and we were still on the way. Sorsogon is quite large, and even though we technically entered Sorsogon, our actual destination was Irosin because it was the closest spot to our plans, including a visit to Zoe's Resort & Eco-Adventure Park, Bulusan Lake, the charming town of Bulusan, and Gubat—a popular surf spot in Sorsogon.

THE ARRIVAL

We got to the hotel in the late evening because we had to grab dinner and pick up some items at SM Sorsogon.

The hotel and resort are tucked away in a somewhat secluded spot. From the highway, we had to make a turn onto a narrow street, just enough for our car and a bike to fit through. It wasn't a long drive, and the hotel was easy to spot in the vicinity, with signs pointing the way.

To our surprise, we learned that the hotel had only been open for a year. We felt fortunate! The place was exceptionally clean, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating.

ACCOMODATIONS FIT FOR ROYALTY

After sorting out our payments with the front desk officer, they graciously accompanied us to our rooms. Opting for the ground floor, we chose convenience over climbing stairs, especially with the pool area in mind.

Stepping into our room, we were instantly captivated by its ample space and the inviting comfort of the bed, tempting anyone to spend their stay simply lounging.

The bathroom surprised us with a delightful provision of both hot and cold shower options, and it was impressively tidy, a testament to the attention to detail the owners maintained.

In summary, our room was flawless, and GABZ'K Hotel and Resort lived up to our expectations.

REJUVINATION AND RELAXATION

As midnight neared, we made plans to gather by the pool. Though not large, the pool was undeniably charming, especially with the added ambiance of changing lights and the glow from beautiful hanging bulbs emitting a warm yellow light.

They were relaxed about bringing food and even waived any corkage fees. We brought our drinks and snacks, enjoying them as we discussed our plans for the following morning.

CONCLUSION

GABZ'K Hotel and Resort impressed us. Despite being a new establishment this year, they've upheld excellent cleanliness throughout their premises. Their pricing was fair, and on top of that, their staff were polite. The rooms were both clean and cozy. Although their resort was compact, it exuded a tranquil ambiance that was very inviting.
